Karnta was the second BC character I created she is a Draenei female Hunter and is now at level 30. I played, similarly to Duxun, straight through from 1 to 20 before stopping, following the same story-lines on Azuremyst Isle as I went through with Duxun.

Karnta has her talents wholly in the Beast Mastery tree as this helps with levelling - I’d forgotten how much at lower levels. Levelling a BM hunter is a joy and is too simple - hunter’s mark, pet, auto-shoot, arcane shot, loot, next! Once Karnta hit 30 I learned Intimidation which should make things even easier.

There’s nothing much left to say apart from Karnta has Herbalism and Mining as tradeskills and will support the production tradeskills of the other characters.

Duxun was the first character I introduced post-BC, he is a Draenei Shaman and my first real experience of that class.

I’ve levelled this alt up to 20, straight through from level 1 with no interruptions. It was a fairly easy task and the class itself didn’t add any hindrance - it was rather enjoyable with the well thought out Draenei story-line starting in Azuremyst Isle. Shaman plays pretty much like a paladin however with the use of totems rather than auras and blessings.

I’ve been moving Duxun up thorough the Enchantment talent tree and it seems to go well with levelling, allowing two-handed weapons at level 20 as well. I’ll report more on the dynamics of the class versus other classes in a later article.

I’ve levelled Elizana to level 10 now. I followed the same quest list as I did for Golan, and took some time to level my tradeskills at the same time.

Elizana’s trades are now as follows:

• Herbalism: 14 (+13)
• Mining: 26 (+25)
• Cooking: 30 (+24)
• Fishing: 20 (+10)
• First Aid: 59 (+22)

Warlock Quest

Once I pinged 10 there were a few Warlock quests to do, the ultimate reward would be to get the spell to summon a Voidwalker. The first of the main two parts, i.e. not talking to people, was [10]: Gakin’s Summons where you have to kill the caster in the house at the Blackwell Pumpkin patch. This was relativley easy at 10, imp died almost instantly due to the adds, but using [Elixir of Lion's Strength], [Elixir of Minor Fortitude] and [Oil of Olaf] helped cusion the blows. I had to use a [Minor Healthstone] about half way through but had no major problems.

The second part of the quest chain, [10]: The Binding, involved killing a level 10 Voidwalker that you have to summon. For me this was very easy as a level 40ish Warlock was standing next to me when I did it and he killed the thing in one hit.

So now I can summon Voidwalkers as well as imps. After doing these quests I bought a [Soul Pouch] from the auction house for around 4G (expensive!) and then grinded a bit until I had a full pouch of 20 [Soul Shard]s.

I’ve levelled Despin to level 10 now. I followed the same quest list as I did for Golan, and took some time to level my tradeskills at the same time.

Despin’s trades are now as follows:

• Mining: 53 (+52)
• Cooking: 30 (+12)
• Fishing: 20 (+10)
• First Aid: 53 (+14)

Mage Quest

Once I pinged 10 there were Mage quests to do, only a short chain of two quests which were relativley easy in comparison to the Warrior one. Did [10]: Speak with Jennae and [10]: Mirror Lake, I took the [Ley Orb] for the reward but haven’t used it as of yet due to using a two-handed weapon.

Golan is now level 10. Levelling up to 10 included doing a range of quests in Elwynn Forest, a list of which will be posted later.

Golan’s tradeskills are now as follows:

• Skinning: 49 (+48)
• Mining: 32 (+31)

• Fishing: 1
• First Aid: 52 (+51)

Warrior quest

Once I pinged 10 and updated all my talents I then did the level 10 Warrior quest chain, from [10]: A Warrior’s Training to [10]: Dead-tooth Jack. Along the way you get a few new talents and in the end up I picked [Haggard's Hammer] as the chain reward.

Time played: 2 hours 21 minutes

I’ve levelled Elizana to level 6 now. This was done in Northshire from level 1 to 6, completing all the quests there and a couple in Goldshire.

I grabbed all the trades for Elizana once I hit level 6:

• Cooking: 6 (+6)
• Fishing: 10 (+10)
• First Aid: 37 (+37)

I’ve levelled Golan to level 6 now. Similarly to Despin this included levelling up to 3 in Coldridge and then from 3 - 6 in Northshire.

I grabbed all the trades for Golan once I hit level 6:

I’ve levelled Despin to level 6 now. This involved doing a few of the low level quests in Coldridge up until level 3 then making the trek to Stormwind. As well as this the time played includes setting up the plugins that I use when playing WoW.

Then Despin was levelled up from 3 to 6 in Northshire, completing all the quests and dropping finishing them at Goldshire.

I grabbed all the trades for Despin once I hit level 6 and levelled a few of them up:
